Rose Lilly is an absolute little darling, who is very lovable, friendly, and sweet. She is a dear, gentle soul with a bit of an adorable, playful side. She adores being held and loved in a gentle way. Rose Lilly is very endearing, and it is hard not to fall in love with this little beauty. She enjoys short walks and likes to explore in the yard. She gets along with other small, gentle dogs, but would be fine as the only dog in her new home.

 

          Rose Lilly is a Shih Tzu, about 11-12 years old and 8-9 pounds.  Due to a heart murmur and decreased vision, she has been evaluated by our cardiologist and opthomologist. Common for Shih Tzus her age, she has a degree of a heart valve condition, and was placed on one medication. She currently has no cardiac symptoms. Rose Lilly also has an eye condition, which will probably cause her to go blind in the next 1-2 years, for which there is no treatment.

 

          We know Rose Lilly’s angel is out there, perhaps reading this right now, who has the desire, means, and love to give this wonderful girl her best possible senior years. It would be such a shame for her to go blind and remain at the shelter for the rest of her life, especially when she is such a joy to be with.
